Dr. Kiran Toor

Dr. Kiran Toor is a proud born and raised Calgarian. Her journey to becoming an optometrist has taken her across continents, but her heart has always been in home in Calgary.

She embarked on her academic journey at the University of Calgary. Driven by a passion for eye care, she furthered her education in Cambridge, UK, where she earned her Optometry degree. During her time in the UK, she gained invaluable experience in honing her skills and knowledge in primary care. Dr. Toor continued her education at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, USA, where she further deepened her knowledge in myopia control, dry eyes and ocular disease. Her clinical rotations included working at the veterans hospital in New Hampshire and multiple community clinics across the Boston area. Being trained in a variety of jurisdictions, Dr. Toor is versed to apply tailored solutions to each unique situation. Patients value Dr. Toor’s proactive approach to eye care, centred on preventive health education and strategies for long term optical health.
