Dr. Tania Marcolin

Optometrist

Dr. Tania Marcolin was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She attended and graduated from Ambrose University with a Bachelor of Science and a double minor in Chemistry and Kinesiology. Upon graduating, she immediately moved on to her next adventure in Glendale, AZ at Midwestern University where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree. During her term, she studied abroad and had clinical training at two veteran affair (VA) facilities in Tallahassee, FL and Tulsa, OK. In addition to her VA training, she also worked a private practice in Phoenix, AZ. Throughout her training, she developed a passion and interest in ocular disease.

Dr. Marcolin was born deaf and has a cochlear implant, which she received at a young age. Given her background and experience in hospitals growing up, she is very understanding and compassionate towards all of her patients. She is able to utilize Sign Language to communicate with the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing population if needed.

Dr. Marcolin joined the Premier Eye Care family in early 2020, and she looks forward to providing exceptional optometric care in the community. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and traveling, but most of all, she enjoys spending time with her family.
